Travel Report 1991: Brand, Vorarlberg (Austria)

Note: I never took notes during this holiday, so all I can do is show you some photographs and tell you a little about where we took 'em :)

The first photograph shows the lowest point of the route through the Üble Schlucht (Bregenzer Wald region), where you cross the river Lutz. The next view is a little higher ;) From nearby Schillerkopf (Bürserberg - Bludenz) you look down on the town Bludenz and the Klostertal; the third photograph shows a view towards Feldkich.

The Douglass Hütte at the Lünersee (Brandnertal), seen from the Saulajochsteig. Next you see our holiday cottage in Brand (Brandnertal), if you know where to look that is ;) The third photograph actually shows the other way around, where we have a look at Eggen and the Niggenkopf chairlift seen from our holiday cottage.

The left photograph shows the Schafgafall North summit (nearby Lünersee, Brandnertal).
Next is somewhere in the Üble Schlucht where you walk along the river Lutz. The third and forth picture are also in the Üble Schlucht.

View of the Montafon seen from the Vermuntbahn when it still was a 'standseilbahn' (sort of small train on a very steep slope; today it's a modern cable railway).
